The space will quite possibly bring you to tears, especially if you’re feeling a bit tired and emotional at the end of a busy season. The wisdom and safety the space imparts is tangible and the slightly dishevelled buildings will prompt many oohs and ahhs.
We will be based inside the glasshouse and Fiona will talk you through all her decisions as she goes - why that curved stem goes there or that space is deliberately left empty.
There may be times when some helping hands would be handy, so if you feel you may benefit from getting involved you would be very welcome, but just watching is absolutely fine too.
Places are limited and there is one scholarship place available - contact Marianne marianne@heeled.in for more about how to apply.

About Marianne
9 months ago Marianne moved to the welsh borders to rent the walled garden and orchard at the Oldlands estate. Previously co-founder of Wolves Lane Flower Company, a micro flower farm in London, Marianne grew flowers for her own design work and other florists who championed a seasonal approach. WLFC appeared in The Guardian Weekend, Vogue, and on Gardener’s World. Their book ‘How to Grow the Flowers’ is published by Pavilion/Harper Collins.
Marianne established Heeled In to provide people with opportunities to slow down, to foster connections with gardens - weeds and all - and to refind their purpose through rest.
Heeled In is located near Monmouth, approximately an hour away from Bath, Cardiff and Bristol - full address will be provided upon booking
