Two day floral design deep dive. A private Intensive in my home.

I will open my home, garden and workspace to you for a deep dive into seasonal foam-free designs. This option can be taken 1:1 or in small groups (maximum four) and gives you the opportunity to really drop into my process over two days, to ‘plug into my brain’ and download all I’ve learnt. I’ll share my process while you discover the keys to working sustainably, without floral foam. We will also uncover what you are drawn to and how you can express that going forward. You’ll be encouraged to wander round my garden, a rambling treasure trove of higgledy-piggledy loveliness, featured in The English Garden Magazine.

DAY 1

We’ll meet at my home for tea/coffee and biscuits, before sharing with me how you currently work and what specific skills you need to go away with. Then you’ll get hands on with techniques to create a table centrepiece.

After a beautiful locally sourced light lunch you’ll be free to pick from the garden and create your own design, all the time discussing the techniques and ideas for working without foam.

Then you can head back to your accommodation late afternoon.

DAY 2

I’ll elabroate on what we covered yesterday and share accessible ways of creating a large arch or similar design, again with morning tea/coffee and another fabulous light lunch, the day will culminate in creating a large installation together.

I will also share tips and strategies for photographing your work beautifully and enticingly. Then you can leave when we’re finished and leave me to tidy everything away!
